Get In-State Tuition for Unique Majors
You could qualify for in-state tuition at for certain programs not available in your home state through the Academic Common Market (ACM). Aerospace, Animation, Horse Science, Concrete Industry Management, and Mechatronics Engineering are among eligible offerings for students from several states, along with Audio Production, Music Industry, Recording Industry, and more. MTSU has scholarship opportunities for you
Transfer Scholarships Transfer Promise Guaranteed Scholarship • Apply to MTSU by Feb. 15
• $3,000 per year for two years (four semesters max)
• 3.0 overall college GPA and 60 earned credit hours prior to enrolling in MTSU
Honors Transfer Fellowship • Application at mtsu.edu/honors due Feb. 15
• Awarded to 30 students per year
• $3,500 a semester in-state ($7,000 out-of-state) for up to four semesters
Reduced Rate for Out-of-State
You may be eligible for a major tuition discount through the Regional Scholars Program if you aren’t pursuing an Academic Common Market (ACM)-approved degree (see above).
• Graduate high school in a state that touches Tennessee or in a county within 250 miles of MTSU • Be admitted with an ACT composite of 25 (SAT 1200) or greater • Attend full time—at least 12 hours • Apply for the ACM program if available
